This picture was taken only a few short years after I really became involved seriously in photography.  To this day it remains one of my favorites.  It was taken at Morainne Lake in the Banff, Alberta area.  It was during the summer and I had decided that I wanted to travel along the icefields parkway.  On the final morning of my trip I made my way out to this lake.  I shot hundreds of shots that day and many of them I didn’t like at all.   However, this particular shot really captured my attention.  I think it was the simplicity of the scene that drew me and still keeps me entralled to this day.
